Originally from Bombay, I've lived & worked across London, Bombay, Bangalore, Stockholm & Goa most recently. I'm currently building an OS for Short Term Rentals starting with Goa, India and the UK.

My Professional Experience from 2008 to 2017 spans two distinct phases of FINance + TECHnology:

I. 2008-13 - FIN: My early corporate career included across India & London:

1. Global Infrastructure & Privatization Investment Banking at UBS Investment Bank from 2008-2009,

2. A brief stint value investing at the recently setup Malabar Investments (an Indian value hedge fund) in 2009,

3. Fundraising for two years out of the Mayfair Hotel in London at EmeraldWorld International where I first hand saw the end-to-end prep, raise & close of US$33.3mn as the Chief of Staff to the Founder & CEO (ex-Gemfields plc CEO) starting his second innings in 2010-12,

4. Global Strategy/M&A at Grant Thornton International's International HQ in London from 2012-13.

II. 2014-17 - TECH: Co-Founder leading Product at 3 early-stage, VC-backed B2C startups in Bangalore:

1. A gamified streaming app for regional (South Indian) regional films that reverse merged with Reelbox;

2. An Accel Partners-funded messaging startup along with my developer from Bollyverse and my Lavelle Road flat-mate,

3. A concierge based conversational commerce platform for marquee Indian brands.

Then on 20 Dec 2017, I survived a near-fatal car crash and am now living my second life with a 3D printed titanium plate in my skull. While recovering gradually (2018-21), I undertook multiple Venture Consulting projects, Qualifications & Startup Experiments.

Upon making a full recovery & post COVID lockdowns, I moved to Stockholm to revamp Truecaller's iOS app in early 2022. Over an intense 7-month marathon, we rolled out of a brand new iOS app, written completely from the ground up; doubling our global iOS users within 4 weeks!

I then teamed up with an old friend from college (& ex-colleague) as we built multiple fintechs since late 2022. We raised a seed round from Tim Draper to build a Bitcoin cashback platform for everyday purchases (across 120+ UK brands) called YouEarnBTC. As part of our latest pivot we vibe coded LivAround - an AI-native OS (Operating System) for STRs (Short Term Rentals), maximizing revenue across channels & streamlining operations by leveraging AI & streamlining issue reporting over WhatsApp for Business.
